The Sanctions section is used to track and manage government-issued sanctions and approvals
required for real estate projects. It allows users to input and monitor sanction details, including
timelines, authorities involved, and status updates.
To create a sanction, follow the below steps:
1. Navigate to Liaison > Sanctions > Liaison Sanctions List
2. Once you are on the Liaison Sanctions List, you need to input the required information to
proceed further. Begin by selecting the level at which the requisition is createdwhether at
the Property, Sub Property, Land, Project, Sub Project level or at all levelsby using the
radio buttons available on the filter panel.
3. Click Go.
4. Then, click Create Sanctions on the top right corner.
Fields
Explanation
Property Name
The relevant name of the property or project
associated with the sanction is automatically
displayed
Reference No.*
A unique reference number for identifying the
sanction application. Mandatory for tracking
and retrieval.
Sanction Name / Type*
Specify the type of sanction (e.g., building
permit, environmental clearance) from the
drop-down list. The list comes from the master
data in Liaison > Masters > Master Tables > This
field is mandatory.
Sanction Sub Type
Further categorization of the sanction type,
providing additional granularity (e.g., minor
sanction).
Date of Filing*
The date the sanction application was
submitted to authorities. Essential for tracking
timelines.
Due Date*
The deadline for when the sanction is expected
to be processed or approved.

Date of Sanction
The actual date the sanction was approved by
the relevant authority.
Inspection Date
The scheduled date for any required
inspections by authorities. Helps in planning
and coordination.
Sanction Validity Date
The date until which the sanction remains valid,
ensuring the work is completed within this
period.
Monitoring Date
Date for monitoring the sanction process or
related activities to track progress.
Status*
The current status of the sanction (e.g.,
"Pending," "Approved," "Rejected"). Mandatory
for status tracking.
Remarks (Max 1000 Characters)
Additional notes or details about the sanction,
allowing for updates or explanations related to
the process.
Fields marked with (*) are typically mandatory.
Grid
Document
Add any documents related to the sanctions. To add a document(s), click Add New, choose a file and
click Update.
5. Click Create.
5.2 Payments
The Payments section is used to manage all financial transactions related to obtaining government
approvals. This includes fees paid to authorities, consultants, and liaison agents.
To create a new payment, follow the below steps:
1. Navigate to Liaison > Payments > Liaison Payments List
2. Once you are on the Liaison Payments List, you need to input the required information to
proceed further. Begin by selecting the level at which the requisition is createdwhether at
the Property, Sub Property, Land, Project, Sub Project level or at all levelsby using the
radio buttons available on the filter panel.
3. Click Go.
4. Then, click Create Payment on the top right corner.

Fields
Explanation
Payment For*
Choose from the drop-down the category of
the payment, such as Land, Project, Sub
Project, etc., related to liaison work.
Certifying Company
The certifying company is automatically
displayed.
Paying Company*
The paying company responsible for making the
payment is automatically displayed.
Sanction Name / Sanction Type*
Choose from the drop-down list the name or
type of sanction associated with the payment,
such as approval or agreement to release funds
for the work or service.
Sanction Sub Type
Choose from the drop-down list the sub-
categorization of the sanction, providing more
detail on the type of sanction, if applicable.

Reference No*
Choose from the drop-down list a unique
reference number used to identify the specific
payment or sanction.
Payment Towards*
Choose from the drop-down list whether it is an
Advance or against an invoice.
Mode of Payment
Choose from the drop-down list the method of
payment, such as bank transfer, cheque, or
cash.
Agent
Choose from the drop-down list the name of
the agent or intermediary involved in the
payment process, if applicable.
Favouring*
The name of the person or entity in whose
favour the payment is being made.
Certified Amount*
The total amount certified by the certifying
company for payment after verification.
Certificate Base Amount
This amount being the original base amount
certified before any additions or deductions, is
automatically displayed.
Tax Addition
The total tax amount added to the payment
based on the applicable tax rates and
regulations such as GST.
Total Tax Addition
The sum of all tax additions applied to the
payment.
Gross Value
The total value of the payment before any
deductions, including taxes and other additions.
Net Certified Amount
The final certified amount after taxes and
deductions have been applied.
Tax Deduction
The total tax amount deducted from the
payment, such as withholding tax or other
deductions, such as TDS.
Total Tax Deduction
The sum of all tax deductions applied to the
payment.
Net Amount Payable
The final amount payable after all additions and
deductions, including taxes, have been
accounted for.
Round Off Difference Amount
The difference due to rounding off values for
accounting purposes.
Payment Due Date*
The date by which the payment should be
made.
Description*
A detailed explanation or description of the
payment, including its purpose and any
relevant information.
Payment Instructions*
Specific instructions related to how the
payment should be processed, such as account
details, handling, or timing instructions.
Document
Any supporting document that needs to be
attached with the payment for validation, such
as invoices, contracts, or certification
documents.

5.3 Budget
5.3.1 Budget
Budget allows the user to define and allocate a budget for all liaison-related activities. The budget
can be created at a project or sub-project level.
To create a liaison budget, follow the below steps:
1. Navigate to Legal > Budget > Budget > Budget
2. Once you are on the Budget page, you need to input the required information to proceed
with the budget creation. Begin by selecting the level at which the budget will be created
whether at the Property, Land, Project, Sub Project, or Company levelby using the radio
buttons available on the filter panel. In this example, Property has been selected for budget
creation.
3. Next, within the same filter panel, choose from the dropdown menus property and status.
4. Once all the necessary filters and details have been set, click the Go button to proceed.

6. Enter budget details such as Charge Type, From and To Date, and Budgeted Amount. You
may add multiple budgets. To add a new budget, click Add New and add the above details.
7. Once you add the budget details, click Submit. It involves an approval process i.e., once
submitted, it will move to the authority who has been authorized to approve it based on the
design of your approval hierarchy.
5.3.2 Budget Comparison
Budget Comparison enables users to compare the planned budget against actual expenses incurred
for government approvals.
To compare two budgets, follow the below steps:
1. Navigate to Legal > Budget > Budget Comparison > Budget Comparison
2. Once you are on the Budget Comparison page, you need to input the required information
to proceed with the budget comparison. Begin by selecting the level at which the budget
comparison will be madewhether at the Property, Land, Project, Sub Project, or Company
levelby using the radio buttons available on the filter panel.
3. Next, within the same filter panel, choose from the dropdown menus property and versions
of the budget that you want to compare.
4. Once all the necessary filters and details have been selected, click the Go button to proceed.

5.4 Approvals
5.4.1 Payments
Payments approval handles payment-related transactions initiated within the Liaison module. Before
a payment is processed, it requires approval from designated individuals who have been authorized
to make decisions on payments.
To approval payments, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Liaison > Approvals > Payments
Step 2: Search for the payment(s) using filter parameters such as Sanction Name, Certificates For,
etc. Alternatively, you may select the current status of the payment under the Status field, click Go,
and then choose the payment from the list.
Step 3: Once you find the result, click on the certificate number in the first column to land on the
View Payment page. Then, hover over 'Status,' click 'Change Status,' and select a status from the
drop-down list. Add any remarks if necessary.
Step 4: Click Update Status.
5.4.2 Budget
Before any liaison-related expenditure is made, the budget must be approved. The budget request is
submitted to the concerned authorities for approval. After review, the budget is either approved or
sent back for revision.
To approval a budget, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Liaison > Approvals > Budget
Step 2: Search for the budget using the Budget For parameter. Alternatively, you may select the
current status of the budget under the Status field, click Go, and then choose the payment from the
list.
Step 3: Once you find the result, click on the Name of the budget in the third column to land on the
Budget Approval page. Then, hover over 'Status,' click 'Change Status,' and select a status from the
drop-down list. Add any remarks if necessary.

Step 4: Click Update.
5.4.3 Manage Liaison Agents
The activities performed by liaison agents, including interactions with government bodies, regulatory
agencies, or third parties, require this approval to ensure all necessary documents and procedures
are in place. A request for the liaison agent’s activity is submitted for approval. Upon review, request
is approved, allowing the liaison agent to proceed with their tasks.
To approval a liaison agent, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Liaison > Approvals > Manage Liaison Agent
Step 2: Search for the liaison agent using the Agent Name parameter. Alternatively, you may select
the current status of the liaison agent under the Status field, click Go, and then choose the liaison
agent from the list.
Step 3: Once you find the result, click on the Agent ID in the first column to land on the Liaison Agent
Details page. Then, hover over 'Status,' click 'Change Status,' and select a status from the drop-down
list. Add any remarks if necessary.
Step 4: Click Update.
5.5 Masters
5.5.1 Master Tables
Real estate business processes are complex and detailed. Business records contain numerous fields
at the time of creation. Some fields are filled out by the user, while others are populated through
drop-down lists sourced from master tables within respective modules. These master tables provide
the data for the drop-down fields used during the creation process. Almost all modules have a
master table each, and these tables are created and edited based on business requirements.
Here are the various Master Table categories under the Liaison module:

Sanction Types
5.5.1.1 Sanction Status Master
The master data added here will appear in
Creating Sanction Status Master
1. Navigate to Liaison > Masters > Master Tables.
2. Select Sanction Status Master from the drop-down list and click Go.
3. Click on Create on the top right. The Sanction Status Master window will
appear.
4. Specify the Name and click on Create to complete the step.
5. The new record will now be visible in the list of records.
Edit Sanction Status Master
1. Navigate to Liaison > Masters > Master Tables.
2. Select Sanction Status Master from the drop-down list and click on Go.
3. All existing records under this master will be listed. To edit a record, click on the
button, which is an edit button.
4. The Edit Sanction Status Master window appears. Update Name and click on
Update to complete the step.
5. The changes will now reflect in the list.
Changing the Status
1. Navigate to Liaison > Masters > Master Tables.
2. Select Sanction Status Master from the drop-down list and click on Go.
3. All existing records under this master will be listed. To change the status of a
record, click on icon, which is a status icon. A pop-window will appear asking
for confirmation. Click OK to complete the step.
4. The record will now indicate an inactive status with the icon.
Deleting the record
1. Navigate to Liaison > Masters > Master Tables.
2. Select Sanction Status Master from the drop-down list and click on Go.
3. All existing records under this Master will be listed. To delete a record, click on
icon, which is a delete icon. A pop-window will appear asking for
confirmation. click on OK. Another pop-up window will appear displaying the
message "Deleted Successfully." This completes the step.
4. The deleted record will no longer appear in the list.

5.5.1.2 Sanction SubTypes
The master data added here will appear in
Creating Sanction Subtypes
1. Navigate to Liaison > Masters > Master Tables.
2. Select Sanction Subtypes from the drop-down list and click Go.
3. Click on Create on the top right. The Sanction Subtypes window will appear.
4. Enter the details for Sanction Subtypes and select the appropriate options
from the Sanction Type and SAC Code drop-down lists. Click Create to save.
5. The new record will now be visible in the list of records.
Edit Sanction Subtypes
1. Navigate to Liaison > Masters > Master Tables.
2. Select Sanction Subtypes from the drop-down list and click on Go.
3. All existing records under this master will be listed. To edit a record, click on the
button, which is an edit button.
4. The Edit Sanction Subtypes window appears. Update Name and click on Update
to complete the step.
5. The changes will now reflect in the list.
